Influence of Processing Parameters on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of AZ31 Alloy by Friction Stir Welding

中文摘要:研究了4 mm厚AZ31镁合金板材搅拌摩擦加工工艺。在加工速度为100 mm/min,转速为500~1500 r/min条件下获得了表面平整、无宏观缺陷的加工面。搅拌区的晶粒尺寸相对于母材得到了明显的细化,并且随着转速的增加,搅拌区的晶粒逐渐增大,显微硬度逐渐降低,符合霍尔-佩齐公式。在应变速率为5 × 10-3 s-1的条件下了进行室温拉伸,结果发现,加工后搅拌区细晶组织的抗拉强度相对于母材有所降低,但伸长率得到提高。
英文摘要: AZ31 alloy with 4 mm thickness was welded by friction stir. Defect-free joints could be obtained under a range of rotation speed (500~1500 r/min) at a constant welding speed (60 mm/min). The results show the coarse grains in base material change into fine equiaxed grains in stir zone after FSP. When elevating rotation rate, the mean grain size increases and the microhardness decreases. The microhardness measurement results fit Hall-Petch relationship. The tensile test was conducted in the strain rate of 5×10-3 s-1 at room temperature. The tensile strength is lower than base material, but the elongation increases.
