Abstract:
The welding processes of GH600+CuAgZn dissimilar materials ring part were conducted using brazing and hot isostatic pressure(HIP) diffusion welding techniques respectively. The effects of different welding processes on the weld interface, microstructure, and mechanical properties were systematically investigated. The results show that the HIP diffusion welded joint with a silver-based interlayer exhibits good bonding, free of metallurgical defects, and has superior mechanical properties. Compared with brazing, HIP diffusion welding significantly enhances the bonding rate and strength.Moreover, the addition of a silver-based interlayer effectively resolves the linear enrichment and linear defects of the Cr element observed in the HIP diffusion welded joint without an interlayer, thereby significantly improving the strength and stability of the joint.
