Abstract:
The effects of solution and aging on the microstructure and mechanical properties of 6A02 aluminum alloy were studied by means of optical microscope(OM), scanning electron microscope(SEM),(EDS) analysis and mechanical properties test. The results show that, the solution of 6A02 aluminum alloy can meet the requirement of solution at 520 ℃ for 45 min. The peak aging system of the alloy is 160 ℃/14 h. Under the condition of peak aging, the second phase is fine dispersed, the tensile strength of the alloy reaches 360 MPa, the yield strength reaches 325 MPa, the elongation reaches 14%,and the fracture behavior is micropore aggregation ductile fracture. The main phases of the alloy in aging state are Al MnFeSi phase, simple Si phase and Mg
2Si phase.
