Co添加对Cu-Zr-Al基非晶合金玻璃形成能力和力学性能的影响

    Effects of Co Addition on Glass-forming Ability and Mechanical Properties of Cu-Zr-Al Based Amorphous Alloy

    • 摘要: 研究了Co添加对Cu46Zr46Al8非晶合金玻璃形成能力和力学性能的影响。采用真空熔炼铜模吸铸法制备了直径3 mm的(Cu(100-x)Cox46Zr46Al8x=0、10、30、50、70、90 at%)非晶合金样品;利用XRD和DSC分析了该合金的性能,对其进行了室温压缩性能测试;采用SEM分析了该合金的断口形貌。结果表明:适量增加Co元素有利于提高合金的玻璃形成能力;当Co添加量为10%时,合金的过冷液相区宽度ΔT达到了62 K,该合金的非晶形成能力最强;当Co添加量达到70%时,制备的非晶材料具有最佳的力学性能,其断裂强度达到2158.25 MPa,塑性变形达1.3%。

       

      Abstract: The effects of Co addition on the glass forming ability and mechanical properties of Cu46Zr46Al8 bulk metallic glass were studied.(Cu100-xCox)46Zr46Al8x =0,10,30,50,70,90 at%) bulk amorphous alloy with diameter of 3 mm was produced by copper mold suction casting. The properties of the alloy were tested by XRD and DSC. The compressive properties of the alloy at room temperature were tested. The micro-fracture morphology of the alloy was analyzed by SEM.The results show that the glass-forming ability of the alloy improves by adding appropriate amount of Co element. When the addition amount of Co is 10%, the width of undercooled liquid zone ΔT reaches 62 K, and the amorphous forming ability of the alloy is strongest. When the amount of Co is 70%, the mechanical properties of the prepared amorphous alloy are best,the fracture strength is 2158.25 MPa, and the plastic deformation reaches 1.3%.
