Abstract:
The analysis of wall thickness distribution, mechanical properties and metallographic microstructure of L245M steel grade small bending radius induced heating pipe under different heat treatment processes was carried out. It is found that the wall thickness of the tube in the bending section changes obviously after induction heating bending, and the wall thickness of the outer arc side decreases and the wall thickness of the inner arc side thickens. After tempering, the wall thickness of tube body produces springback. Compared with those of the mother tube, the strength of the inner arc side tube increases slightly after induction heating bending, while the strength of the outer arc side tube increases significantly, and the strength increases nearly 200 MPa, the elongation after break, section shrinkage and impact performance decrease obviously. After tempering, the strength of the pipe body decreases slightly, the tensile properties are more uniform and the impact properties are improved obviously. After induction heating bending, the mechanical properties of the tube body on the inner arc side of the bending section are the closest to the straight pipe section, followed by the neutral zone, and the outer arc side fluctuates the most.
