Abstract:
The polarization curves, electrochemical impedance spectra and galvanic current of Ni47Ti44Nb9 pair at 10,20, 40 and 60 ℃ were measured by electrochemical workstation and zero-resistance galvanometer. The surface corrosion morphology was observed by metallographic microscope and scanning electron microscope(SEM), and the corrosion products of Ni47Ti44Nb9 were analyzed by EDS. The results show that the self-corrosion potential of Ni47Ti44Nb9 becomes more negative with the increase of temperature, which is-0.734 V at 60 ℃. At this point, the corrosion current density is 4.79 μA·cm
-2, and the overall corrosion resistance of Ni47Ti44Nb9 memory alloy is good, and the oxide film appearing on the surface is TiO
2. The maximum potential difference between 3A21 alloy and Ni47Ti44Nb9 memory alloy is 1.03V. In the pair,Ni47Ti44Nb9 is protected as a cathode, while 3A21 is intensified by anodic corrosion. The maximum coupling current density at different temperatures is 12.6 μA·cm
-2, and the coupling corrosion sensitivity grade is C, indicating good.
