Abstract:
The mechanical properties and corrosion properties of Er-containing 5E83 alloy hot rolled plate before and after different annealing state sensitization were studied. The microstructure of typical annealed alloy was analyzed by OM,EBSD and TEM. The results show that the hot rolled sheet is sensitive to intergranular corrosion after 100 ℃ annealing for 168 h sensitization treatment. The hot rolled sheet has poor long-term corrosion resistance. After annealing, the mechanical properties of hot-rolled 5E83 alloy with hot-rolled alloy decrease. Corrosion properties before and after sensitization are improved with prolonged annealing time. The stabilization process is optimized at 260 ℃annealing for 16 h considering the mechanical and corrosion properties. When annealed at 260 ℃/16 h, the weight loss of hot rolled sheet before and after sensitization is less than 15 mg/cm~2, which is good for long-term intergranular corrosion resistance. No continuous β phase(Al
3Mg
2) precipitates are found at the grain boundary in the transmission structure of hot rolled sheet after annealing at 260 ℃for 16 h sensitization. Therefore, the hot rolled sheet has good resistance to long-term intergranular corrosion after annealing at 260 ℃ for 16 h.
