Abstract:
The strain fatigue experiments of S30408 austenitic stainless steel were carried out, and the fatigue property was studied by cyclic stress-strain response characteristics, stress-strain hysteresis curve and fatigue life, meanwhile the strain fatigue parameters were obtained. In order to establish the fatigue life prediction model of S30408 austenitic stainless steel, the applicability of the Manson-Coffin equation, three parameters power function, three parameters strain energy function and the life prediction model based on plastic energy were compared. The results show that all the four fatigue life prediction model can effectively characterize the relationship between the strain fatigue life and the strain amplitude. In addition, three parameters power function energy method and the life prediction model based on plastic energy have better prediction precision accuracy.
