Abstract:
The microstructure and hardness of deposited metal of welding material FM 152, FM 52M and FM 52 for Inconel 690 in welded and heat treated states were analyzed, and the hot cracking tendency of deposited metals was tested by using transverse varestraint test. The results show that FM 152 deposited metal has the largest amount and volume of precipitates, while FM 52M deposited metal has the least amount and volume, and the hardness is lower, and basically not affected by heat treatment, the thermal stability of the microstructure is good. When the constraint strain of the transverse varestraint test is 4%, no crack appears, the strain tolerance of FM52M deposited metal is higher than 4%, the hot cracking sensitivity is low. While the hardness of FM 152 and FM 52 deposited metals is relatively higher, and it is greatly affected by heat treatment; when constraint strain is 4%, the cracks appear, and the strain tolerance is lower than 4%, and the hot cracking tendency is relative higher.
