Abstract:
Taking the pulse MIG welding current voltage waveforms and high-speed photographic image as the main evaluation basis, by adjusting the pulse peak current and base current, the NS 3303 nickel based alloy can be welded stably and the heat input is minimized. The experimental results show that when the average current is 160 A, the pulse peak current is355 A and the base current is 45 A, the welding process is stable, the droplet transition is stable and the heat input is minimized. By means of the above test method, the peak and base current values were rematched completely, a new welding data for NS 3303 nickel based alloy was done. It provides effective data support for pulsed MIG welding of nickel based alloys.
