Abstract:
The starting powder is a mixed powder of 316L austenitic stainless steel and 430 ferritic stainless steel, and the mass ratio of 316L to 430 is 40∶60. The adopted preparation process was powder injection molding and sintering nitriding process. The effects of different solution treatment temperatures on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the samples were studied. The results show that as the solid solution temperature increases, the nitrogen content in the sample decreases, the ferrite content, the strength and the hardnessare gradually increase.When the solid solution temperature is 1320℃, the nitrogen content of the sample is 0.12wt%, the ratio of ferrite to austenite is 39.1∶60.9, and the strength and hardness of the sample are higher than 316L and 430L in the MPIF standard of the United States. The tensile strength is 994 MPa, the yield strength is 411 MPa, the elongation after fracture is 8.8%, and the hardness is 219 HV, respectively.
