Abstract:
In order to obtain high-quality transmission material in nuclear environment, the properties and microstructure of 304 stainless steel were tested and observed. Based on this, the solid solution treatment was carried out to further improve its mechanical properties, to provide high quality samples for low temperature chromizing, to realize the chromizing treatment of 304 stainless steel at 700 ℃, and to test and compare the mechanical properties, surface hardness.The results show that the layer thickness of low temperature chromizing is 10-20 μm, and the surface properties of surface hardness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance of solid solution 304 stainless steel low temperature chromizing sample can be improved significantly under the condition that the mechanical properties of solid solution 304 stainless steel are basically stable.
