    Research Progress of Eutectic Si Modified by Sr in Hypoeutectic Al-Si Alloys

    • 摘要: 变质亚共晶Al-Si合金中共晶Si对提高合金的力学性能具有十分重要的意义,Sr元素是一种有效的化学变质剂。本文总结并分析了Sr变质亚共晶Al-Si合金中共晶Si的实验结果。得到如下结论:Sr元素能够有效地变质亚共晶Al-Si合金中共晶Si,将其形貌由板片状转变为纤维状、颗粒状等,但其变质效果与多种因素有关,如合金熔炼时Sr的加入温度、保温时间、合金凝固时的冷却速率等;Sr与其他元素共同参与亚共晶Al-Si合金共晶Si变质时,这两种元素的耦合作用关系不是一成不变的,比如Sr和B;目前关于Sr元素变质共晶Si的变质机理还没有统一的认识,但Al2Si2Sr化合物在共晶Si变质过程中发挥着十分重要的作用。

       

      Abstract: The modification of eutectic Si in modified hypoeutectic Al-Si alloy is of great significance to improve the mechanical properties of the alloy. Sr element is an effective chemical modifier. The experimental results of eutectic Si of hypoeutectic Al-Si alloy modified by Sr were summarized and analyzed, and the following conclusions are got: Sr element can effectively modify eutectic Si of hypoeutectic Al-Si alloy, and it changes eutectic Si morphology from plate to fibrous and granular.However, the modification effect is related to many factors, such as adding temperature of Sr during melting, holding time, cooling rate of alloy solidification, etc. When Sr and other elements participate in eutectic Si modification of hypoeutectic Al-Si alloy, the coupling relationship between two elements might not be invariable, such as Sr and B. At present, there is no unified understanding on the modification mechanism of eutectic Si modified by Sr element, but Al2Si2Sr plays a very important role in the modification of eutectic Si.
