Abstract:
ZG30CrMnSiMoNi steel was quenched at different temperatures to obtain lath martensite+different volume fraction of retained austenite, and the effect of retained austenite on impact wear property of the steel was investigated. The results show that, with the increase of quenching temperature, the hardness of the steel does not change much, the impact work increases first and then decreases, the tensile strength gradually decreases, and the volume fraction of retained austenite first increases and then remain unchanged.Impact wear property of steel depends on the combination of hardness and toughness, and the retained austenite during impact wear induces martensitic phase transformation in the process of plastic deformation, which can effectively improve the wear resistance. The steel has the best wear resistance when the quenching temperature is 950 ℃with hardness of 49.5 HRC, impact energy of 29 J, and the volume faction of retained austenite of 5%.
