Abstract:
Taking 3 mm thick 6082-T6 aluminum alloy sheet as the base material, the laser wire filling welding tests were carried out, and the influence of laser power and welding speed on the weld forming, microstructure and mechanical properties was studied. The results show that when the laser power is 1800 W and the welding speed is 0.9 m/min, the weld forming is the best. The microhardness of the joint decreases first and then increases from the base material to the center of the weld, and there is a significant softening in the heat affected zone. The tensile strength of the joint can reach 300 MPa, and the elongation is 3.60%.Under the condition of penetration of the weld back, with the increase of laser power or the decrease of welding speed, the overall forming quality of the weld gradually becomes better, the grain size of the weld center gradually increases, and the mechanical properties of the joint become worse. At the same time, with the increase of laser power, the number and size of weld pores and the porosity increase.Because 6082 aluminum alloy has high thermal crack sensitivity, and Zn is added during the filler welding, low melting point eutectic phase forms, which liquefies locally under thermal cycling and leads to intergranular cracking.
