Abstract:
The heat-treatable high strength Al-Zn-Mg-Cu aluminum alloys have good plasticity, toughness, low density and mechanical properties, and they are widely used in marine equipment.However, the problems were found during service of aluminum alloy, such as the corrosion in seawater, the weld strength of marine structures impacted by wind and waves, etc.Taking 7075 aluminum alloy as the research object, the relevant research on marine engineering equipment materials in the past five years was reviewed and sorted out, and the research and application of the high-strength aluminum alloys were introduced from three aspects of surface treatment, welding technology and heat treatment process. The research direction of high strength aluminum alloys for marine engineering equipment was put forward.
