Abstract: High nitrogen steel has many excellent properties, such as high strength, corrosion resistance, good low temperature ductility and nonmagnetic.Firstly, the research progress of high nitrogen steel welding method was summarized in detail. Secondly, the practical application of high nitrogen steel in medical equipment, oil drilling, special vehicles and armored equipment was reviewed. Finally, the shortcomings in the research of high nitrogen steel welding technology were pointed, and the future development direction of high nitrogen steel welding technology was prospccted.
