某在役X70管道环焊缝裂纹原因及质量隐患分析

    Cause Analysis of Cracks and Hidden Quality Problems of Girth Weld of A X70 Pipeline in Service

    • 摘要: 通过无损检测、焊缝解剖分析、理化性能检测、宏微观分析等手段,对某在役X70级钢输气管道的环焊缝裂纹及其它缺陷进行了分析。结果表明:在该焊口1~2点钟位置存在5处缺陷,包括夹渣、缩孔和未熔合,这些缺陷降低了焊缝的强度和韧性。11~12点钟位置存在长约20 mm的裂纹,该裂纹沿根部焊道的熔合线开裂,沿粗晶区扩展,贯穿整个打底焊道。焊缝错边量较大且焊缝根部存在形状不连续,造成应力集中。该裂纹为打底焊道在后续填充焊加热过程中由于应力集中以及焊接热应力所产生的再热裂纹,在服役期间未发生扩展。

       

      Abstract: The crack and other defects of girth weld of an in-service X70 grade steel gas pipeline were analyzed by means of nondestructive test, weld anatomical analysis, physical and chemical performance test, macroscopic and microscopic analysis, etc. The results show that there are 5 defects such as slag inclusions, shrinkage holes and incomplete fusions at the 1-2 o'clock position of the weld, which decreases the strength and toughness of the weld. From 11 to 12 o'clock, there is a crack with a length about 20mm. The crack cracks along the fusion line of the root weld, expands along the coarse-grained zone, and penetrates the backing weld. Big weld misalignment and discontinuous shape at the root of the weld lead to stress concentration.The reheat crack is formed under the stress concentration and thermal welding stress during the heating to the backing weld by subsequent filling welding.And it does't expand during service.
