Abstract:
Fe-11Cr-2.5Mo-1Ni-0.1Zr rolled damping alloy was annealed at three different annealing temperatures under vacuum condition.The damping capacity of the alloy under different annealing temperatures and different constant prestresses wsa studied by TA Q800 dynamic mechanical analyzer.The results show that the damping capacity of the alloy decreases with the increase of prestress.The attenuation of the damping is minimum after 950 ℃a nnealing.After 900 ℃ annealing, the alloy achieves the best damping performance at 24 MPa prestress.Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) shows that after annealing treatment, the two-phase structure with ferrite as the matrix and martensite as the precipitated phase is obtained.The content of martensite phase in the alloy increases with the increase of annealing temperature through the observation of optical microscope.
