Abstract:
MAG welding has the advantages of high efficiency, high quality and stability, and it is widely used in the welding of metal materials such as carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel.In recent years, with the increasing requirements of welding efficiency and welding quality in various engineering fields, new MAG welding technologies have been studied.Based on the systematic summary of the research status of MAG welding technology, the research progress on external magnetic field control, laser-MAG hybrid welding, narrow gap welding, double-wire welding and protective gas type was discussed.It was prospected that MAG welding technology should be developed in the directions of heterogeneous steel welding materials, welding accessories and weld seam tracking system.
