Abstract:
The double liquid bimetallic composite hammers were manufactured by liquid-liquid composite casting process in EPC. The metallurgical bonding interface and cast microstructure of the composite hammers were studied. The results show that the fusion transition interface of bimetal is irregular and compact, forming a stable metallurgical bonding zone. The wear test show that the wear mechanism of the composite hammer surface is abrasive wear and oxidation slight wear under the conditions of friction time of 0.5 h, friction speed of 8 mm·s
-1 and load of 30 or 90 N.
