Abstract:
The cold rolled Ni-5at%W(Ni5W) strip was annealed at different temperatures. The hardness of the annealed strip at different temperatures was analyzed and the microstructure was investigated by optical microscopy. The recrystallized textures were evaluated by EBSD. The effects of annealed temperature on the recrystallized texture were discussed. The results show that the recrystallized temperature of the Ni5W alloy strip is around 700 ℃. As the annealing temperature increases, the hardness decreases and the grain grows. Secondary recrystallization is prone to occur above 1200 ℃. With the annealing temperature increasing, the cubic texture content increases, reaching a maximum at 1200 ℃ and over 99%. When the annealing temperature increases furtherly, secondary recrystalallization occurs, the cubic texture content reduces.
