Abstract:
Ni-Cu alloy coating was prepared using electro-depositing legal system to enhance the antioxidant and corrosion resistance of stainless steel.Based on the electro-deposition rate, the best process parameters were obtained by orthogonal experimental method. The coating properties were characterized by high temperature oxidation and electrochemical methods. The results show that the main secondary factors affecting the performance of Ni-Cu alloy coating are current density > boric acid concentration > temperature. The best parameters are: temperature 60 ℃, boric acid concentration 10 g/L and current density 5A/dm
2.Ni-Cu alloy coating can effectively protect the stainless steel substrates with its good antioxidant and corrosion resistance.
