Abstract:
Taking self-melting Al-Cu-Li alloy as the research object, the homogenization process of Al-Cu-Li alloy was studied by using scanning electron microscope, metallographic microscope and other instruments. The experimental results show that the as-cast alloy has obvious dendritic structure, and has coarse second phases such as Al
2Cu, Al
2CuMg, etc. After the first level homogenization, the coarse phases are not significantly reduced.In addition, the best secondary homogenization process is 460 ℃/8 h+515 ℃/24 h.At this time, the coarse phases are greatly reduced, and the residues are the AlCu phase as well as the possible Al
2Cu phase and AlCuFeMn gathering collective. After homogenization kinetics verification, the second level homogenization time matches the experimental results.
