基于ProCAST的某直列式发动机缸体铸造数值模拟分析

    Numerical Simulation Analysis of A In-line Engine Cylinder Block Casting Based on ProCAST

    • 摘要: 在对直列式发动机缸体的结构特征分析基础上,设计了带反直浇道的阶梯式浇注系统,将缸体模型倒放于型腔中并在侧面安放冒口和排气棒,然后采用ProCAST软件模拟分析了铸件的充型过程、凝固过程、温度分布及缺陷分布情况,最后将该工艺应用于缸体的试制中。对试制缸体进行了金相观察、性能测试及缺陷检测。结果表明,实际生产的缸体质量良好,各项性能均符合要求,数值模拟与实际生产吻合度好。

       

      Abstract: Based on the characteristic analysis of the structure of the in-line engine cylinder body, the step pouring system with anti-direct pouring channel was designed, the cylinder block mold was placed upside down in the cavity, and riser and exhaust rod were placed on the side. Then the mold filling process, solidification process, temperature distribution and defect distribution of the casting were simulated and analyzed by ProCAST software. Finally, the process was applied to the trial production of cylinder block. The metallographic observation, performance test and defect detection were performed. The results show that the quality of the actual produced cylinder body is good, all properties meet the requirements, and the numerical simulation has good agreement with the actual production.
