Abstract:
The microhardness and friction properties of the quenched and nitrided H13 die steel with CrAlSiN coating by multi-arc ion plating were studied.The results show that compared with the 6 types of H13 steels after coating and uncoated, the microhardness of H13 steel after quenching treatment is 530 HV; the microhardness of H13 steel after plasma nitriding treatment is 1095 HV; H13 steel after coating is 12 times than that of the base steel, and its microhardness reaches 2697 HV.The hardness of H13 steel after coating is 2840 HV, and the microhardness of H13 coating is 4010 HV. In general, after coating, the amount of the wear significantly reduces, the surface quality significantly improves, and the wear resistance greatly improves.
