Abstract:
The hot isostatic pressing(HIP) Ti-48Al-2Cr-2Nb alloy was prepared using the same component pre-alloy powders by PREP method. After then, the heat treated was carried out at different temperatures(1250 ℃, 1285 ℃ and 1300 ℃).The microstructure of the alloy before and after heat treatment was analyzed using optical microscope and scanning electron microscope, while the room temperature mechanical properties were evaluated by universal tensile testing machine. The results show that Ti-48Al-2Cr-2Nb alloy can obtain near-γ, dual-state and near-lamellar structure respectively at different heat treatment temperatures. Among them, the best tensile strength and elongation of dual-state structure are obtained by 1285 ℃,reaching 495.5 MPa and the elongation rate of up to 1.5%.
