Abstract:
In 3.5wt% NaCl solution, the electrochemical corrosion performance of AZ31, AZ61 and AZ91 was studied using polarization curves.The results show that with the increase of Al content, the corrosion potential first moves positively and then negatively, and the corrosion current density first decreases and then increases.The assembled air battery method was used to test the discharge performance of the three at a current density of 10 mA·cm
-2.The results show that AZ61 has the most stable discharge curve, the smallest voltage hysteresis, and the anode efficiency is as high as 50.26%.By the microstructure characterization, AZ61 contains discontinuous short and thick strips and large granular β phases, and the discharge material falls off less.AZ61 is considered to be the most suitable material for the negative electrode of air batteries among AZ alloys.
