Abstract:
As an important method of surface modification of alloy materials, laser treatment has attracted more and more attention in the field of basic scientific research and industrial production. The industrial application of titanium (Ti) alloy is limited by the lack of surface properties such as wear resistance and hardness. The research methods of laser surface modification technology in improving the properties of Ti alloys was summarized, and the research status and progress in several important surface modification fields were summarized, such as laser surface quenching and laser surface remelting. At the same time, combined with the current research progress and existing problems, the ideas and prospects of future research work of titanium alloy surface modification were put forward.
