Abstract:
In order to obtain the optimal process parameters for laser cladding of Inconel 718 powder on Q690, the experimental combination of BBD(Box-Benhnken Design) in the response surface method was designed. A nonlinear fitting relationship between the input variables(laser power, scanning speed and powder feeding rate) and the response values(dilution rate, depth of heat affected zone, microhardness) was constructed, and the optimal process parameters were determined by using the simulated annealing algorithm SA(Simulated Annealing). The optimal process parameters were experimentally verified and compared with the response values of the same group of specimens. The results show that the determined optimum process is the laser power of 1800 W, scanning speed of 17 mm/s and powder feeding rate of 2.6 r/min.The results show that the depth of the heat affected zone of the specimens under the optimal process parameters reduces by9.3%, the dilution rate reduces by 17.8% and the microhardness increases by 7.2%. After the experimental verification, a method of finding the optimal process parameters is determined, which has certain guiding significance for the actual production.
