Abstract: The self-propagating high temperature lined ceramic tube was prepared by self-propagating high temperature treatment of ordinary steel tube. The anti-scale property and corrosion resistance of ceramic lined steel tube and ordinary steel tubes were compared and studied by anti-scale test and corrosion test. The results show that the anti-scale property of the tube after self-spreading treatment is 180% higher than that of ordinary steel tube. Under the same corrosion condition, the mass loss rate of ordinary steel tube is 100 times higher than that of composite tube with cermet lining.
