Abstract: The research progress of numerical simulation of continuous casting solidification and macrosegregation behavior under the action of electromagnetic stirring was expounded, and the influence of the arrangement of electromagnetic stirrer on the flow behavior, heat and mass transfer behavior of molten steel during solidification of continuous casting slab was summarized. Combined with the research methods and directions of continuous casting by Chinese and foreign metallurgists, the solidification behavior and macro-segregation behavior of continuous casting under the action of electromagnetic stirring were briefly discussed in order to provide theoretical guidance for the design of process parameters.
