Abstract: As an advanced processing tool, laser plays a more and more important role in the field of industrial welding.The new laser welding sources and applications for metal materials were introduced including high reflection metal materials, dissimilar metals, non-metallic materials including plastics, glass, and ceramics and dissimilar materials between metals and non-metallic materials in recent years.The development trend of laser welding was prospected.
