Abstract:
The rolling of extruded Mg-6Zn-1Y-0.6Ca alloy at different temperatures was carried out. The effects of rolling temperature on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg-6Zn-1Y-0.6Ca alloy were studied by OM, SEM,Vickers hardness tester and universal testing machine. The results show that in 370 ℃-430 ℃, with the increase of rolling temperature, the grains of Mg-6Zn-1Y-0.6Ca alloy are gradually refined, the size of the second phase is gradually reduced, and the dynamic recrystallization is more and more sufficient. The dynamic recrystallization of the alloy rolled at 430 ℃ is complete, and the grains are the most uniform and fine. When the rolling temperature rises to 460 ℃, the grains begin to grow. The hardness, tensile strength and yield strength of the alloy rolled at 430 ℃ reach the maximum, which is 77.2 HV, 315.2MPa and 276.8 MPa, respectively, and its elongation is 8.8%.
