Abstract:
As a new type and environmentally friendly paint removal method, laser paint removal technology is one of the research focuses on the field of laser processing, which can be applied on aerospace, cultural relic restoration, automobile maintenance, shipbuilding, electronics industry.The development and application status of laser paint removal technology was reviewed. Its basic principles and characteristics was introduced and the advantages of laser paint removal technology which compared with the existing paint removal methods were introduced, the influence of laser parameters on the paint removal effect were, the evaluation of the removal effect and the monitoring methods.At the same time, the research progress of laser paint removal simulation were introduced. By revirewing the current research progress of lase paint removal technology, several issues that need to be focused in the research field of laser paint removal were proposed, including the research on paint removal process for different substrate materials, the relationship between key parameters and the removal effect, the real-time monitoring technology of the paint removal process such as optical and acoustic, and the comprehensive evaluation system of laser paint removal, which built foundation for its application evaluation.
