Abstract:
Based on the integrated design of a welded pipe bracket and analysis of key constraint points of SLM, four brackets made of four different materials were manufactured by using SLM technology. The macro-microstructure and mechanical properties of the brackets were analyzed, and the topology optimization design of the bracket was carried out.The results show that the macro-microstructure of the brackets processed by SLM has no significant metallurgical defects, and the mechanical properties of the brackets meet the standard requirement. Under the condition of same boundary and load, the weight of the bracket after topology optimization is reduced by 36.6% compared with the initial design. The results verify the feasibility of the proposed method in structural design, and it provides a helpful reference for the lightweight design and manufacture of similar structure.
