Abstract:
During the operation of high temperature pressure-bearing equipment such as boilers, high temperature creep is one of the main reasons for the failure of its key components. It is necessary to carry out creep detection on steel used for various high temperature pressure-bearing equipment, and the evaluation and prediction of creep residual life is realized. This is an effective method to ensure the safety and long-term operation of equipment. Five commonly used creep life evaluation methods, including creep test inference method, microscopic analysis method, ultrasonic inspection method, magnetic inspection method and combined magneto-acoustic inspection method, were introduced. A theoretical basis for the assessment of creep damage state and residual life of steel for high temperature pressure-bearing equipment was provided, and the future development direction of creep evaluation of commonly used steel for high temperature pressure-bearing equipment was pointed out.
