Abstract:
In order to broaden the application range of titanium alloy in medical field, medical titanium alloy with good hydrophilicity and excellent antibacterial properties was prepared through the surface functional modification with NVP and Ag NO
3 and
60Co-γ ray radiation grafting technology. The surface structure and properties were characterized by scanning electron microscope(SEM), energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS) and contact angle tester(CA). The results show that the hydrophilicity of irradiated modified Ti-g-PVP/Ag material is significantly improved, the contact angle reduces from 94.6° to 29.9°. Different sizes of silver nanoparticles were formed on the surface. The antibacterial ratio of the modified titanium alloy achieves 98.9%. The titanium alloy after surface functional modification has excellent comprehensive properties, which can not only provide new solutions for the functionalization of titanium alloy materials, but also provide certain technical support for the application and promotion of titanium alloy materials in the medical field.
