Abstract:
The wear behavior at 100℃, 200℃, 300℃and 400℃of TC11 titanium alloy after solution aging was studied by using HT-1000 ball disc high temperature friction and wear tester. The change trend and reason of friction coefficient and wear rate at different temperatures were analyzed. The change of wear scar morphology, composition and wear mechanism at different temperatures were studied by SEM and EDS.The results show that the friction coefficient is the minimum at 400℃and is unstable with time, while the friction coefficient is relatively stable at the other three temperatures. When the temperature is 200℃, the wear amount is the minimum. When the temperature is 300℃, the wear amount is the maximum, and the maximum value is twice of the minimum value. At 400℃, the wear mechanism is mainly oxidation wear, accompanied by abrasive wear and a small amount of adhesive wear.At the other three temperatures, the wear mechanism is mainly abrasive wear, accompanied by oxidation wear.
