Abstract: The current status of research on the directionally solidified high-entropy alloys（HEAs） in China and foreign countries was reviewed. Based on different high-entropy alloy systems, the microstructure and elemental segregation of directionally solidified high-entropy alloys were described. Especially, the mechanical properties and strengthening mechanism of high entropy alloys were analyzed. Finally, the future development trend was foreseen to provide ideas for optimizing the mechanical properties of high-entropy alloys.
