Abstract:
In order to explore the influence of rolling and aging treatment on the friction and wear properties of 7050 ultra-high strength aluminum alloy, its microstructure and mechanical properties were characterized by metallographic microscope, universal testing machine and scanning electron microscope, and its friction and wear properties were tested. The results show that after rolling, the strength and hardness of the sample increase, but the plasticity decreases significantly. After aging, the plasticity of the alloy recovers to a certain extent. The rolling+aging sample has smaller wear amount, smaller average friction coefficient and better wear resistance. The wear mechanism of the rolled samples is the coexistence of abrasive wear and adhesive wear, and the wear mechanism of rolled+aged samples is mainly abrasive wear.
