Abstract:
A 400 MPa corrosion-resistant steel bar containing 0.45wt% Cu was developed successfully. The influences of Cu element on the corrosion resistance and corrosion mechanism of reinforcement were investigated by periodic immersion accelerated corrosion tests. The results show that the yield strength is 450 MPa, the tensile strength is 640 MPa and the maximum total elongation is 15% when the rolling temperature is 1000 ℃-1050 ℃ and the final rolling temperature is 950 ℃-1000 ℃. The corrosion rate of the corrosion-resistant steel bar is 2.217 g/(m
2·h) after 72 h periodic immersion accelerated corrosion experiment and the relative corrosion rate is 41% compared with that of the ordinary steel bar.
