Abstract:
Carbonyl iron powders/polyetheretherketone temperature-absorbing composites were prepared by hot pressing molding process, and the structure, electromagnetic parameters, wave absorption properties and heat resistance of the composites were studied. The results show that with the increase of carbonyl iron powder content from 30% to 50%, the density degree is high, and the dielectric constant and magnetic permeability imaginary part of the composite gradually increase. When the content of carbonyl iron powder increases to 60wt%, the increase of porosity of the composite material has a decrease in density and a significant decrease in magnetic permeability. The simulated reflectivity results show that when the carbonyl iron powders content is 40wt%and the thickness of the composite is only 1.4 mm, the reflectivity is lower than -5 dB in the X band. The density of composite materials can be increased to 99.8%, the dielectric constant decreases, the permeability increases, and the electromagnetic parameters change little after heat treatment at 300 ℃for 50 h.When the content of carbonyl iron powders is 40wt%, and the carbonyl iron powder/polyetheretherketone has excellent temperature absorption performance.Hot pressing densification can effectively improve the thermal stability of composites at 300 ℃.
