Abstract:
In order to reduce the corrosion rate of the alloy in the molten salt, the effect of AlCl
3 on the electrochemical corrosion properties of a nickel-iron-based HT700 alloy in the Hitec molten salt was investigated. The results show that the amount of 1wt%AlCl
3, the positive effect of Al
3+and the negative effect of Cl
-affects and offsets each other, and the addition of Al element is too little, not enough to form a concentration gradient with alloy internal Al element inward diffusion to protect the matrix, does not achieve the desired effect.Later can further improve the concentration of AlCl
3 in nitrate, or choose other alloys without Al element to further verify the role of AlCl
3.
