Abstract:
The surface oxide film thickness, nano-hardness and electrochemical corrosion behavior in 15wt% H
2SO
4 solution were tested for the pre-shot peened industrial pure zirconium R60702 treated by air thermal oxidation treatment at 450℃, 550 ℃, 650 ℃and 750 ℃for 2 h, respectively.The results show that the thickness of the oxide layer increases gradually with the increase of temperature.The nano-hardness of oxide layer section reaches 17.98 GPa at the oxidation temperature of 650 ℃.Compared with shot peened sample, pre-shot peened+thermal oxidation sample shows better corrosion resistance in 15wt%H
2SO
4 solution, and the optimal thermal oxidation process of industrial pure zirconium R60702 is 650 ℃×2 h.
