Abstract:
An adaptive intelligent argon arc welding robot welding method of stainless steel petrochemical pipeline with variable gap and staggered edge was developed. The method used a low-load argon arc welding industrial robot as the carrier and established a welding process knowledge database by manual teaching. Using laser vision welding seam tracking system and independently developed model-driven off-line programming welding system, an adaptive intelligent welding unit of argon arc welding robot was built. The influence of welding gun attitude and laser scanning on the weld quality was analyzed through welding process tests. Compared with the conventional constant parameter welding, the adaptive intelligent welding technology of stainless steel petrochemical pipeline argon arc welding robot is more reliable and advanced, and it is worth promoting and applying in the industry.
