Abstract:
High-entropy alloys are high-performance structural materials with application potential, and have become a hot research direction in the frontier of materials science in China and abroad, especially in the industrial field have very broad development prospects, and are expected to break through the performance limits of traditional metal anti-wear and lubrication. Due to the large differences in the physical properties of the main elements, the degree of atomic chaos of high-entropy alloys is enhanced after they are melted and formed to bulks, and their microstructure is different, which in turn affects the friction and wear performance. Therefore, the effects of the common composition of high-entropy alloys on their microstructure and friction and wear properties were reviewed, the progress of the wear resistance research was focused on,and the problems in current research were analyzed in order to prepare high-entropy alloys with excellent performance.
