2507超级双相不锈钢活塞杆失效分析

    Failure Analysis of 2507 Super Duplex Stainless Steel Piston Rod

    • 摘要: 某2507超级双相不锈钢活塞杆在运行过程中发生断裂失效,通过化学成分检测、力学性能试验、OM和SEM观察,结合ANSYS有限元分析对该活塞杆进行了失效分析。结果表明:活塞杆的化学成分满足标准要求,但力学性能不完全满足标准要求;活塞杆的失效形式为脆性断裂,失效部位为靠近母材的热影响区,热处理工艺不当导致组织中析出大量有害的σ相,在较大交变载荷作用下发生失效。适当提高固溶温度,控制在1050~1150℃,并且提高冷却速率,减少甚至避免σ相析出,可改善活塞杆的组织与综合性能。

       

      Abstract: Fracture failure of a 2507 super duplex stainless steel piston rod occurred during operation. The failure of the piston rod was analyzed by chemical composition detection, mechanical properties test, OM and SEM observation and ANSYS finite element analysis. The results show that the chemical composition of the piston rod meets the standard requirements, but the mechanical properties do not fully meet the standard requirements. The failure mode of the piston rod is brittle fracture, and the failure location is in the heat affected zone near the base material. Improper heat treatment process leads to the precipitation of a large amount of harmful σ phase in the structure, and it fails under large alternating load. The precipitation of σ phase can be reduced or even avoided by appropriately increasing the solid solution temperature to 1050-1150 ℃ and increasing the cooling rate, so as to improve the microstructure and comprehensive properties of the piston rod.
