Abstract:
Taking 6061 aluminum alloy as research object, the influence of cross accumulative rolling bonding(CARB)and subsequent aging heat treatment on the corrosion properties of 6061 aluminum alloy sheet was studied. The corrosion properties and microstructure evolution of 6061 aluminum alloy during rolling and heat treatment were revealed by transmission electron microscope and metallography microscope. The results show that the CARB process reduces the intercrystalline corrosion performance, intergranular corrosion is further aggravated by the precipitated phase at the grain boundary after aging treatment, but the tendency of intergranular corrosion decreases with the increase of aging temperature.The process of spalling corrosion is aggravated by the elongated grains after cross accumulative rolling and the continuous precipitates distribute along the grain boundaries after aging treatment.
