Abstract:
The hot pressing process parameters directly determine the forming quality of the pipe fittings, but the research on the influence of the hot pressing process parameters on the forming quality of the titanium alloy T-shaped tee in China has not been carried out. Numerical simulation and experimental methods were used to study the influence of hot-pressing process parameters on the wall thickness and bulge height of TC4 titanium alloy T-shaped tee under different hot-pressing temperature, hot-pressing rate and the radius of the entrance fillet of the hole mold. The results show that in the selected parameter range, with the increase of hot pressing temperature, the wall thickness of the cross section increases, and the maximum wall thickness of the longitudinal section decreases. When the hot pressing rate reaches 8mm/s, the wall thickness decreases with the increase of the hot pressing rate. The maximum wall thickness of the longitudinal section decreases with the increase of the entrance fillet radius of the hole die. The bulge height reaches the maximum when the hot pressing temperature is 750 ℃, the hot pressing rate is 7.5 mm / s, and the fillet radius is 60 mm. The research results have certain engineering significance for the hot pressing of titanium alloy T-shaped tee.
